Marketing and Membership Committee
Each year the NOCA President appoints volunteers to our membership committees to guide the development of our organization. Our member's support is crucial to our continued success and we appreciate our volunteer’s interest and willingness to serve NOCA in this capacity.
General Committee Information:
The Marketing and Membership Committee generally has 6 or more members, each who serve a one year term, depending on the charges for the year. The Committee has a chair, who runs the meeting and a Board Liaison who relays information to and from the Board of Directors. The Committee meets via conference call and calls are typically held every other month.
Charges for 2007:
- Develop strategic marketing plans to increase membership and expand NOCA’s and NCCA’s name and brand recognition
- Develop a Membership satisfaction survey
- Make follow-up calls to prospective NOCA members (on as close to a regional basis as possible)
- Make retention calls to non-renewing members, monitoring and reporting to the NOCA Board reasons why past members fail to renew
- Develop new membership brochure
- Draft policies and procedures related to Marketing and Membership Committee as assigned by Board
- Provide written report to the NOCA Board at least three times annually (to be received by NOCA staff in advance of the April, August, and November 2007 NOCA Board meetings)
- Develop an annual plan in support of achieving NOCA’s long term objectives
